The protection of UK workers is here as the Government announce a new enforcement body to protect workers’ rights and clamp down on workplace abuse.

It has been officially announced that the government will be creating a single enforcement body to protect the rights of workers and clamp down on bad practice in the labour market. This will see the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority, the Employment Agency Standards Inspectorate and HMRC’s National Minimum Wage Enforcement combined into a single body.
