Job Description

This is a new role which has been created to reflect the growth of our client, a highly successful main contractor in their construction division who are excited to be partnering with several key clients in the design and build of several prestigious projects in the Northwest. The role offers a great opportunity for a driven and focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to take the lead and responsibility for projects up to a value of £40 million from inception to project handover. Typical duties will include but not limited to, the procurement of sub-contractors, preparation and submission of external applications for payment, agreement of Client variations, valuation and agreement of sub-contractor accounts, assisting with the preparation of CVR reports and the submission of monthly profit and loss reports.

Experience & Skills Required

You will have extensive design and build experience for a main contractor and have worked across several sectors to include residential multi-storey, hotels and mixed-use developments. You will be qualified with a BSc in Quantity Surveying qualification or equivalent. Ideally a member of RICS or relevant professional body and hold a current CSCS card (Management or Professional). We are looking for someone who have a clear technical knowledge on construction operations with the ability to deal with major and complex issues with ease. You will be commercially astute, methodical and have a desire to deliver results
